BEGIN was founded by Jane Davidson with the goal of helping high school students truly showcase who they are in their college applications and coach them to understand how they can best build a path that works for them after high school. Jane has worked with high school students for 11 years and developed a comprehensive college coaching program based on looking at the student as a whole person and working with students in cohorts to build a sense of community in the college application process. She now trains excellent teachers and writers to coach students using her proven curriculum. Jane writes and revises every day as an attorney, is a professor at USC, and teaches test prep with Kaplan Test Prep. She graduated with her B.S. from University of Southern California and her J.D. from Loyola Law School where she later worked in the admissions office.
